I wanted to join to the volleyball team in middle school but they didn’t choose me. One day though the team captain said I could play in a match against the rival class as a substitute, and then she said I played good, though they beat us. Other than that I usually played football and basketball with the boys in my neighborhood. Was nothing special, but at least I could handle myself and didn’t really suck. 😅
